For veteran developers, Mike Wampold and John Fetzer, The Preserve at Harveston is the first step in realizing a vision more than a decade in the making. The first of three phases, The Preserve at Harveston is designed to provide the best of New Urbanism while honoring the architectural heritage and natural beauty of South Louisiana.
Situated on one of the last remaining large undeveloped tract of land in Louisiana’s Capital City, The Preserve at Harveston provides an unsurpassed living experience in a one of a kind location. The large landmass allows the preservation of untainted wetlands on the property. The preservation of these natural wetlands is at the core of the developers’ vision for Harveston. The abundance of acreage also provides space for 90 acres of lakes, an extensive system of nature trails and thoughtfully planned homesites.
Mike Wampold has been involved in the development, construction, renovation, ownership and management of real estate holdings throughout Louisiana for over 30 years. Notable among his Baton Rouge projects are the Shaw/CB&I Plaza office building, the Crescent at University Lake Condominiums, I & II City Plaza office buildings and the Renaissance Hotel.
John Fetzer has been involved in the development and management of single family and multifamily projects in Louisiana and Georgia since 1978. Among his more recent Louisiana developments are Longwood, Old Mill and Old Dutchtown residential communities and Lakeside Oaks luxury apartments in Ascension Parish. The goal of both John and Mike has been to develop projects that create unique lifestyles and improve quality-of-living.
